How to make sure forex robots work without problems

Before starting to trade, every trader should keep in mind that they have to make sure their forex robots work continuously without any inturruption. For that reason, we want to give some important tips how to make sure that forex robots will work.

1. It is very important to keep turned on your MT4/MT5 trading platforms 24 h per day from Monday till Friday, during the market opened hours.

2. Make sure your computer, laptop, notebook or other devices are working 24 h per day, where you run the robots. You have to remove hibernate, sleep or any other mode on your PC. This is very important!! PC/Laptop/Notebook has to never go to sleep or hibernate mode!

3. You have to make sure "Auto Trading" is enabled. It is located on the mt4/mt5 terminal at the top menu.

The button should be "Green", this means auto trading is enabled.

Another way of enabling "Auto Trading" is as follows:

- go to the top menu and choose "Tools->Options" there you have to choose "Expert Advisors" tab.

IMPORTANT: It is required for WallStreet Forex Robot 2.0 Evolution, WallStreet ASIA 2.0 Evolution and WallStreet Recovery Pro 2.0 Evolution to allow DLL imports!

Here, it is visible in the picture above that you have to put a tick for "Allow automted trading".

4. Moreover, you have to check all the charts where you attach the robots that "Live trading" is enabled. You can check it:

- right click on the chart

- then click "Expert Advisors->Properties"

- a window will pop-up. Here, you have to check "Allow live trading"

5. Besides the robot's settings, it needs to configure your metatrader 4/metatrader 5 settings as well. So, when you change something in your account, mt4/m5 may change your account to disabled mode which means the robots will stop trading until you change it. It is strongly recommended to be checked:

- go to the top menu and choose "Tools->Options" there you have to choose "Expert Advisors" tab.

As you can see in the picture above, we have unticked the checkboxes to guarantee that if for some reason the account has been changed the robots will still work, so mt4/mt5 will not change settings.

6. It is required to have enough account balance. If your balance is low and there is short of money the robots will not trade at all.

7. After completing the steps above, the rest is to start monitoring your metatrader 4 and metatrader 5 platforms, especially "Journal/Experts" tabs. In case, there is some problems or errors you can read them in these tabs and find a solution, and fix it. All the errors/ issues/ problems/ messages will be written in the log files of your trading platforms and you will be able to find out what is the reason of the failure.
